Texports, LLC provides multifilament polyester yarns for
Biomedical, Medical and Technical Textile Applications. Yarns supplied
by Texports are used to replace Dacron® Polyester yarns from DuPont,
including Types 56 and 55A, which have been used in the manufacture of textile-based
biomedical and medical devices for many decades. Yarns
are available in textured
and flat forms, and in various lusters, including dull, semi-dull,
bright and solution dyed black.
Polyester yarns from Olympic Fibers are well suited for the manufacture of vascular grafts, endovascular grafts, cardiovascular fabrics, heart valve sewing cuffs, braided sutures, surgical meshes, umbilical tape and any other critical applications requiring consistent properties and reliable supply. |

The yarns are manufactured by Olympic Fibers, S.A. exclusively for
Texports, LLC. Resins and processing conditions are selected to
produce yarns with the properties required for the end-use applications.
Some
of the typical properties affected are tenacity, elongation, hand,
shrinkage, luster and color. |
