| Texports, LLC is the exclusive
sales agent for Olympic Fibers, S.A. Texports interfaces closely
with Olympic Fibers to
deliver the products
that customers require. Yarns supplied by Texports are
used to replace Dacron® Polyester yarns from DuPont, which have been
used in the manufacture of textile-based biomedical
and medical devices and products for many decades. |

Olympic Fibers has been producing
yarns since 1974 and conforms to ISO9000 Quality Standards. They
begin with high quality resin to spin into partially oriented yarn
(POY). The POY is then fed into false-twist texturing machines
for producing textured yarns or into draw-twisters for producing
flat yarns. The
processes
are controlled to produce yarns to specific properties and standards.
The processes are flexible so that producing large or
small lots is not difficult. The tenacity, elongation, hand, shrinkage,
luster and color of the yarns produced can be custom tailored to
the end-users'
needs through the selection of resin and
process conditions. |
